We're finalizing the details for this year's Happy Hour and social programming. Here's what to expect based on prior years.
Happy Hour
Every BSides Tampa participant gets a drink ticket with their admission. Happy Hour is where the community comes together after a full day of sessions, villages, and CTF to decompress, swap stories, and meet people you only know from Twitter or Discord.
It's casual and inclusive, and it's one of the things people remember most about BSides Tampa.
More than networking
We don't call it “networking.” Networking is swapping business cards at a vendor booth. This is community: people who do security talking to other people who do security, without an agenda.
Past participants have found mentors, co-founders, job opportunities, and lifelong friends at BSides Tampa social events. That doesn't happen because we engineered it. It happens because the environment is right.
