The people who run BSides Tampa. Every year, 100+ Krewe members donate their time to make the conference happen, from registration to A/V to village operations.
Our Career Track has helped over a thousand participants sharpen their resumes, practice interviews, and connect with hiring managers.
CTF competitions and badge challenges since 2016.
Same admission price since 2013. Student and military discounts at $30. Complimentary admission available. Cost should never keep anyone from participating.

Our Journey
From grassroots to global
The Beginning
First BSides Tampa event launches with a small group of security folks in the Tampa Bay area.
Finding Our Footing
Year two brings more speakers, more participants, and proof that Tampa Bay wanted this kind of event.
Villages Launch
Interactive villages debut, including Lock Pick Village and the first CTF competition. BSides Tampa goes from talks-only to hands-on.
Breaking 1,000
Participant count crosses 1,000 for the first time. BSides Tampa was no longer small.
Adapting to Change
COVID. No in-person event, but planning kept going.
The Comeback
BSides Tampa comes back with more registrations than ever and an expanded training program. The Career Track launches with resume reviews, mock interviews, and recruiter meetups.
2,000+ Participants
Participation crosses 2,000 with 7 tracks, 3 villages, and a full slate of training courses. The conference moves to USF Marshall Center.
2,400+ Strong
BSides Tampa reaches 2,400+ participants, 50+ sessions, 12 training courses, and 140+ Krewe members, ranking among the top three BSides events in the world.
